Details: Job Summary and MissionThis job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting strategic planning and ongoing management through financial analysis and business modeling. The role will prepare analyses, business models, and trend reports to assist in the evaluation of technologxy financial performance and administration. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Assists in the preparation of models and financial reports for the technology telecom services group, as well as supporting selected technology operational groups for forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and general financial management. Develops complex business models and presentations to evaluate efficiency and performance of the telecommunications expense management program. Evaluates monthly results, responds to internal queries, drives vendor interaction in relation to on-going billing issues. Works with internal technology groups to ensure accurate data and forecasts.Develops financial reporting tools to provide greater visibility to technology project metrics and return on investment (ROI) and net present value (NPV) performance and to measure progress against stated goals and objectives. Participates on cross-functional teams, and ensures effective integration through development and distribution of appropriate content reports and sound financial management support.Provides analyses to better understand and evaluate project and telecom spend for the global technology organization.Supports quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan process.Prepares, develops, and assists with portfolio management reporting.Works directly with manager to implement telecom expense management solutions; evaluates the effectiveness telecom service operations for savings and efficiency opportunities.
