Details: AEROSPACE QA Inspector (CMM and Manual) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to the following: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY: • Perform mechanical inspection of finished machined parts throughout the machining process from first piece to final inspection. • Programs/operates a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Assures all pieces are within specified geometric tolerances required & are in compliance with engineered drawings & company specifications, testing parts against the design intent. • Communicates with Quality, Manufac- turing, and Engineering in verbal and written form, & documents inspection results in required format. • Create & maintain quality documenta- tion, such as procedures, inspection plans, work instructions, quality assurance specifications, etc. • Perform other duties as assigned.
