Details: Job Summary: The Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for working closely with both the IT and business organizations throughout the company to gather requirements, assist in the definition of scope and objectives for IT development projects and assist with user acceptance testing and training. Performs job duties consistent within safety, legal and regulatory requirements; company standards, culture and business practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Elicit and document business requirements for one or more concurrent application delivery projects using the appropriate method (Use Cases, User Stories, requirements matrix, screen mockups, report mockups, etc.) following an interactive-prototyping methodology. • Coordinate with application development teams to identify gaps between existing applications and project business requirements. • Create workflows which illustrate business processes. • Identify impacts on other systems from business requirements – work closely with IT Operations as well as the business teams. • Work with the appropriate business owners/users to understand and prioritize the client requirements. • Provide ongoing interpretation and clarification of requirements to the IT development team. Work closely with IT on customization and configuration. Facilitate discussions between business users and developers to ensure ongoing alignment and issue resolution. • Assist the QA team in developing test cases from the requirements documentation. • Work with the business team in managing UAT issues and their resolution. Additional Duties:Contributes to departmental activities and programs by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
