Technical Business Analyst

Details: Indiana Interactive, LLC develops and manages the state of Indiana Web portal (www.IN.gov) and develops eGovernment solutions. Indiana Interactive, a subsidiary of NIC Inc. [NASDAQ: EGOV], is located in Indianapolis, IN and is seeking a temporary Technical Business Analyst who is responsible for the discovery and documentation of functional and technical software requirements, communication and validation of those requirements with key stakeholders, and hands-on participation throughout the development life cycle. This position is a temporary position anticipated to last 6-12 months, but has the potential to convert into a permanent full-time position.  Primary Functions: Conduct interview sessions with state partners to elicit and validate functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with State agencies, development staff and user interface designers to define requirements and acceptance criteria for implementation.  Create detailed and effective project specification documentation, including user scenarios, screen mock-ups, and UML diagrams. Maintain project documentation throughout project lifecycle. Work with QA lead to create testing plans and scripts for projects to ensure quality. Perform internal testing and other quality assurance activities. Other duties as required by the Director of Project Management.

Business Analyst and Technical Writer

Details: Business Analyst for Policies & Procedures is responsible for analyzing, mapping, documenting, publishing, and maintaining the online loan servicing policies and procedures manual and reference material. The Business Analyst interacts with subject matter experts in all divisions to identify procedural inconsistencies and inefficiencies both intra- and interdepartmentally. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Gather, assess, and confirm interpretation of new and/or changing policies and procedures. Develop and maintain the online policies and procedures manual using specialized software and internally developed process. Maintain open communication with departmental points of contact to monitor the effectiveness of existing policy and procedure documentation and to ensure the P&P team is kept abreast of procedural changes. Provide Instructional Designers / Trainers updates to ensure instructional material is being developed from the most current Policies and Procedures. Develop, update, and maintain the Policies and Procedures reference material in an online environment. Identify inefficiencies by monitoring changes in procedure and coordinating cross-functional audits to provide support for the streamlining of business practices as they relate to policies and procedures. Create policies and procedures consistent with and resulting from regulatory, compliance, and legal changes. Work with business unit contacts to ensure such updates made and approved within compliant timeframes.
