Community Organizing Specialist
Details: The Community Organizing Specialist plays a key role in developing and supporting a redesigned lodge system, with a particular focus on affinity-based communities, to deliver a consistently valuable member experience and strengthen the common bond by deepening relationships with existing members and attracting new members. This is accomplished by organizing and inspiring Thrivent members and prospective members in a movement focused on generosity and wisdom with money, and supporting the development and function of local “communities" through volunteer leadership. This work relies heavily on grassroots organizing principles of relationship-building, mutual interest and collective efforts. Community Engagement Specialists are responsible for executing strategies and tactics for online and offline grassroots engagement in Thrivent’s key markets. Ideally, Specialists will be based in and conducting efforts in their local area.
