Advance your career at Liberty Mutual - A Fortune 100 Company!   As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will perform research and analysis to improve business processes and assist in decisions that contribute to near-term profitable growth and the long-term outlook of the business.  In this role you will conduct targeted analysis as part of our Customer Service Operations' team.  Most importantly, you'll be engaged in meaningful work for an organization that is committed to "helping people live safer, more secure lives."     Responsibilities: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to key performance indicators for Service Operations.  Draw conclusions about trends, variances (against plan, over time, etc.) and business performance by analyzing information including customer satisfaction and business process data.  Recommend solutions to business problems (such as competitive landscape or consumer behavior changes) through thorough evaluation of feasibility, cost, economies, and/or other aspects of each option.  Develop presentations that clearly organize findings and recommendations, and deliver to senior management within Liberty Mutual's Personal Markets. Assist with business research by gathering data, identifying options, performing cost-benefits analyses, and creating non-routine reports with detailed insights and/or proposals to create or revise management policies, business processes and the services provided to customers. Extract information from relational databases, through the use of standard query methods and tools, from various sources including internal applications and systems, and external vendor feeds and sources.  Able to manipulate data in spreadsheets and through other business intelligence tools. Act as departmental SME (subject matter expert) on various processes and sources of data.  Liaise with external vendors as necessary. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to research and understand assigned projects, and to coordinate any necessary interdepartmental activities or implementation of proposed actions. Champion a culture of critical thinking and analytical rigor within Personal Markets.
