Business Analyst

Details: Manpower is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in finance. This role involves forecasting as well as strong report generation. THIS JOB IS 20 HOURS PER WEEK also there may be required flexibility with the hours being worked. The location is in Franklin, MA and this is a 6+ month assignment. The hourly rate is $29 an hour.Here is an overview of the job descriptionThe position is working within Financial Operations within Education Services, supporting customer education Preferably the candidate has worked in a corporate environment in the past Financial background is a plus; candidate should understand general principals of accounting/finance in Need somebody who understands how an order is processed from start to end and who can understand and figure out if an order is booked, and assist and research details of the order. Must be comfortable dealing with international customers. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Analyze Customer Education deals in order management system (Oracle/SAP) and provide feedback to management and/or field • Analyze booking/billing/backlog reports, create charts for management and perform calculations such as average product mix, yr/yr growth, % of product, ... • Act as the go to person for the field regarding revenue and bookings queries • Receive redirect requests from field, screen requests and ensure that they are valid, forward requests to order processing and confirm to field when redirects have been processed • Support monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation (VMware/Isilon/RSA) • Update weekly bookings and revenue forecast and daily bookings/revenue/backlog tracker • Communicate weekly and quarterly forecasting cycles with field • Support international partner programs (provide monthly reports, obtain approvals and follow up as needed) • Support roll out of international processes and programs • Support customer education processes (vouchers, backlog, brokerage, PSO, internal contests, ...) • Document new processes, create process flows, update existing processes • Generate ad-hoc reports • eRoom Coordinator • Perform other duties as required SKILLS • Analytical skill • Detail oriented • Sense of urgency • Ability to understand complex processes • Basic financial understanding • Customer Service skill • Communication skill OTHER JOB SPECIFICS • Thursdays and Fridays are typically busier (due to forecasting cycle). • Last two weeks in the quarter are the busiest weeks. • Estimated time effort required to fulfill duties described in this Job Description is 4 hours daily (20 hours per week). • Preferred availability of resource is daily.
