Details: The Controller has responsibility for the accounting function: internal reporting, financial management, and maintenance of internal controls. This position supervises a small team and maintains close collaboration with corporate contacts. Job Summary:Manage the following functions: Financial reporting, Audit, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll. Reporting to this person are two managers, the Accounting Manager, and the Assistant Controller.  This person will also be responsible for the successful implementation of the new ERP, as an important member of the company-wide implementation team, working closely with the consultants and the Project Management team.Responsibilities: Maintain the close calendar, and produce on-time GAAP reports and Management reports for monthly budget to actual reviews by the 20th of each month Maintain Accounting Procedures and assist the CFO in developing and proposing new accounting policies and changes to old accounting policies Manage the Annual Audit process Manage the Accounting Manager and the Assistant Controller Manager relationships with other operational units Special projects as needed including process improvement projects with other groups.
